VictoriaVictoria M.B. Taylor is an experienced family law attorney and a Rule 114 Qualified Mediator. Victoria brings a unique perspective to her work with families and individuals going through hard times and difficult situations.
Victoria worked as a Guardian ad Litem for Ramsey County where she represented the best interests of children involved in child protection cases. After working as a Guardian ad Litem, Victoria was encouraged by a mentor and friend to go to law school. Since law school, Victoria has honed her skills as a litigator known for her ingenious strategies and realistic approaches to resolving difficult cases. Victoria dedicates her time and skills in various ways. Victoria serves as one of the Chairs of the Legislative Committee of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Family Law Section. In this role, she works to monitor legislation affecting families and family law and advocates on behalf of MSBA-sponsored legislation. Victoria also a founding member of the Minnesota Teen and Adult Challenge Legal Clinic, where she continues to volunteer to serve those battling addiction. Victoria's skills as a legal professional have been honored in a multitude of ways. In 2015, Victoria was recognized by Minnesota Lawyer Magazine as an Up & Coming Attorney. And in 2017, Victoria was nominated to serve on the Minnesota Child Support Task Force, which reviewed Minnesota's child support statutes and made a number of recommendations designed to make the State's child support laws better for parents and children. Victoria’s strength is her ability to reach and communicate with people in crisis and her ability to provide creative solutions and legal strategies to difficult legal problems. Her clients appreciate her tenacity, her truthfulness, her creativity, and her ability to find real solutions to tough problems. Victoria lives in St. Paul with her husband and daughter. She has four fantastic children in total and two precious grandchildren. Education
